On the morning of November 27, the commissioning ceremony of the Energy Storage System Integration and Assembly Plant of Beijing Tianqi Hongyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Beijing) was grandly held in Zhongwang Town, Jinghai District, Tianjin. Positioned as a "Generation 2.0 Energy Storage Plant", this integrated production base not only undertakes three core businesses including PCS (Power Conversion System), BMS (Battery Management System) and EMS (Energy Management System), but also expands into the virtual power plant sector. It serves as a pivotal cornerstone for Tianqi Hongyuan to radiate the North China market and deploy its footprint across the domestic and even overseas energy storage tracks.

Government-Enterprise Synergy Fuels the Accelerated Implementation of Green Projects

The commissioning ceremony received strong support from leaders at all levels of Jinghai District and Zhongwang Town. Jinghai District’s implemented "three-level liaison + full life cycle" government-enterprise co-service model has provided precise whole-process guarantees for the project. Enterprise service specialists from Zhongwang Town conducted full-process docking, while the government service team optimized approval procedures and shortened processing time limits, enabling the project to commence construction, enter the building phase and start operation at an accelerated pace. This has set a vivid example of government-enterprise collaboration in driving green and low-carbon development.


In their speeches, relevant leaders of Jinghai District and Zhongwang Town stated that the commissioning of Tianqi Hongyuan’s energy storage plant is a significant achievement in the development of the regional new energy industrial cluster. It will inject strong impetus into Jinghai’s efforts to build a "new highland for green and low-carbon industries". The government will continue to optimize the business environment and support the enterprise in deepening its local development.

As a landmark achievement of Tianqi Hongyuan at the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, this Generation 2.0 Energy Storage Plant boasts a host of outstanding features: it has a designed annual production capacity of up to 4GWh. A concurrently completed R&D center is equipped with independent R&D capabilities for three core energy storage systems, realizing an integrated layout of "production + R&D". Different from traditional factories, this base takes "high efficiency, intelligence and diversification" as its core advantages. It not only focuses on technological breakthroughs in the safety and efficiency of energy storage systems, but also expands into the virtual power plant field, establishing a full industrial chain layout covering core component R&D, system integration and scenario-based applications.

At the ceremony, Zhuang Bo, President of Tianqi Hongyuan, clarified the company’s future development plan: during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, the company will take the Tianjin Jinghai Plant as its core production capacity support, deeply cultivate the domestic energy storage market, and at the same time fully explore the overseas new energy blue ocean. Relying on the technical reserves of the R&D center, it will take the lead in launching 5 high-performance energy storage products adapted to the new power system, fully covering diverse application scenarios such as industrial and commercial use, power grid side and household use.
